Senior Support Team

This extraordinary team of young adults leads and assists all over summer camp, whether in the middle of a Cabin Circle Camp or behind the scenes. A great way to experience a summer of faith building and leadership growth in a rich, fun community. Volunteer (V) and Fundraised/Paid (FP) positions available.

Position (4-12 Weeks) Description

Camp Health Care Providers (Nurse / EMT) (FP)

This person works in collaboration with the senior leadership staff team to ensure the health and safety of all campers and staff. As we navigate the changing covid realities and guidelins, we will continue to create, adapt, and implement the most recent health care plans and work together with our Camp Health Care Providers to keep our staff and campers safe.  Note: Advanced First Aid is preferred (second year nursing student, registered EMT-A or EMT-P or LPN).

 Dish Crew Supervisor (FP)

The Dish Crew Supervisor is responsible for leading the Dish Crew in cleaning dishes, maintaining the cleanliness of the dish area and pouring into the lives of the junior support team from week to week, creating and maintaining a godly, positive and productive working environment.

AV Tech (Media Team) (V)(FP)

Responsible for AV for chapels and all other media-related activities (sound, lighting, powerpoint, video, etc.), assisting Media Director with other media related work.

Photographer (Media Team) (V)(FP)

Be a part of capturing the fun and amazing images of summer camp and sharing them with campers. This position is responsible for all the images of campers and staff and assisting in the management of SABC social media accounts.

  Recreation Assistants – Cabin Circle (FP)

Recreation Assistants will work alongside Cabin Circle Directors to facilitate the program within one of four cabin circles (Lodgeside, Hillside, Lakeside and Fortside).

Recreation Crew (Sr. Lifeguard) (V)(FP)

Working alongside the Waterfront Coordinator and Program Director,  lifeguards will help create and keep a safe waterfront environment. NLS required. Paid/Fundraised positions available.

Tuck Shop Coordinator (V) (FP)

The Tuck Shop Coordinator will ensure that the tuck shop at both the Fort and Lodge are fully stocked and prepared for campers – snacks, candy and merchandise galore!

Boat Coordinator (FP)

The boat coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of all boats, including daily maintenance and safety. This person will work with volunteers and would also instruct the waterskiing and tubing activities.

Waterfront Coordinator (FP)

The Waterfront Coordinator is responsible for the SABC waterfront areas in and around the water. This position directs the lifeguard team and other waterfront staff during but not limited to, free time and scheduled activities for safe program use of the waterfront.

 Worship Coordinator (FP)

The Worship Coordinator will work with the Program Manager, Cabin Circle Directors, and Media Director in creating worshipful chapels and campfires. They will equip and manage worship teams, plan for chapel media and sound needs, and encourage the spiritual growth of the staff and campers.
