The Project

We are building a new lodge building that will lay the foundation for the next 4 decades of camp ministry here at SABC.

Facts about this building:

  • Total size: Total size: 40,000 square feet
  • Estimated date of completion: January 2011
  • Total cost: $4.5 million
  • Special features:
    • a full sized gymnasium
    • an updated kitchen
    • 16 new guest living accommodations
    • Elevator
    • Larger, more spacious dining room
    • Wheelchair accessible
    • New administration area

Stage 2 of the build will involve a complete and extensive renovation and reconfiguration of the existing building. Click here to view the plans.

Funding

Funding for this project has been provided solely through the generosity of individuals and friends of SABC. The goal before beginning the construction was to raise 80% of the total in funding commitments. This was achieved. Presently, work is being done to raise the 20% still needed to complete the project.

Debt Financing

We have secured interim construction financing from the EFC Prairie District Trust Foundation. This financing will not be needed until March of 2010.
